Training

I am the programmer for the outcome management software ASIST, trained in CDOI practice and a psychotherapist intern.  I can provide onsite, web-based and telephonic training for you and your staff on how to implement the ASIST program.  I specialize in helping clinicians get behind the measures and understand the science behind it.  I utilize a hands-on approach to give administrators, managers, and clinicians a working knowledge of the program and how to set it up for optimal use on your network.

I leverage my CDOI clinical experience and training with an intimate knowledge of ASIST to help your agency have a successful outcome management experience.

Many agencies are able to get going without training services from me.  They might have one person become the local expert or train users with the helpful videos on the ASIST for Agencies page.  Program setup is very straightforward, usually requiring little or no input from me.  Managers with basic computer knowledge can do it in less than an hour.

If you would like to setup a training click on the link below.  There are three basic courses geared toward different groups: one for therapists, one for supervisors, and one for IT support.  The regular course covers basic skills like creating new clients, entering scores, and interpreting the trajectory charts.  The supervisor course covers the statistics and how to bring them into practice.  The network support course is designed to help setup the program in the best way for your agency.  The amount of time depends on your proficiency with computers and CDOI concepts, but typically last one hour for each group.

My training and support rates are $150/hr.
