ASIST for Agencies (SUV)

ASIST Outcome Management Software

Many therapists and agencies around the world are taking the scores from the ORS and SRS to the sophistication of a software package. Software and computers in general help to bring the mathematics of decades of research to the fingertips of the lay user. The days of techno-savvy therapists scratching formulas and charts on graph paper are coming to an end. Just enter the scores and click to bring up a chart of your clients' perception of change and alliance. These charts and simple messages can serve as a guide to noting cases of concern and help you get on with the business of helping people. How nice it is to receive a score from a client and have an opportunity to leverage the science behind outcome research at a glance.

To bring the therapy outcome research to the automation of the computer, Client Voice Innovations in cooperation with the Institute for the Study of Therapeutic Change has developed the ASIST programs. Check out the descriptions below to give yourself an opportunity to make an informed decision. In each there are electronic forms of the measures where clients can click at the computer or menus that can receive previously completed paper scores.

ASIST for the Professional (A4P)

If you're looking for an inexpensive (and easy) way to get started, this Excel based program is for you. It allows tracking ORS scores in easy to read chart format that compares the client's perception of distress to results experienced in tens of thousands of clinical cases. You can get a sense for your effectiveness as a therapist (maybe find out if you're in the wrong profession!). The program also offers simple messages in response to concerns about the therapeutic alliance.

ASIST for Agencies (A4A Full Version) or (Single User Version)

If you're managing an agency setting, or thinking about starting a revolution in your own agency, the ASIST for Agencies package is for you. This Microsoft Excel and Access based application has a powerful feature set that takes full advantage of an existing computer network (intranet) to allow multiple users and unlimited computers. It can start small (even on one computer with no network) and grow as needed. This application has everything the individual version has plus much more. Here are a few key additions. ORS and SRS scores are charted. There is an expanded set of clinical cut off's for the ORS that include adolescent as well as child clients. There are a number of administrative functions that allow managers to see the effectiveness of each therapist and program in an agency. Color coding helps identify cases of concern. There is even a risk reminder feature to help identify and track clients who have concern with drugs and alcohol as well as danger to self and others.

Just click on the titles above to see more details on each of the programs.
